Free energy blowing in the wind.

As 2015 draws to its inevitable conclusion, the world is locked in a conundrum vice of how to ,reduce global emissions ,without reducing economic output. The renewable energy industry has begun to have a positive impact on reducing the dependence on fossil fuels.Wind ,solar, geothermal all have contributed greatly to reducing CO2 emissions.

Windmills are a ancient technology but one that modern science has improved, dramatically ,in just a few years short time.A wind turbine generates energy by turning kinetic energy into a stored form of mechanical energy. Moreover ,this energy is available for immediate use or, can be stored, for later use.

The IER estimates wind produces 1.8 percent of available energy to the US power grid. The number is miniscule today, but I believe it will rise exponentially in a few short years. The next generation of wind turbine will be off shore where the winds are more favorable, as well as, longer lasting compared to land based wind turbines.

I believe this nation is on the right track in finding solutions to the solving the global warming issue.I believe more investment research and development in needed to expand the use of renewable energy in the USA.Thankyou for reading this article today on Medium.I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to read this article.Feel free to post your comments and insight today. Also, I am on Linkiden and welcome all networking requests.
